Primer Caso Autóctono de Dengue en Santa Fe

El Ministerio de Salud de Santa Fe confirmó hoy el primer caso autóctono de dengue en la provincia desde hace cuatro meses.

El contagio corresponde al serotipo DEN-1 y se une a otras jurisdicciones que han registrado casos similares: Chaco, Formosa, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Tucumán y Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

El paciente es un hombre de 59 años del Departamento Castellanos, sin antecedentes de viaje a otras provincias o al extranjero. Fue atendido en una clínica privada y se encuentra en buen estado de salud, recuperándose de manera ambulatoria.

La directora de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud, Analía Chumpitaz, informó que, antes de la confirmación, se realizaron acciones de bloqueo en la zona, incluyendo fumigación intradomiciliaria y espacial y campañas de concientización sobre medidas de prevención. Hasta el momento, no se han detectado otros casos de síndrome febril en el área afectada.
