Murió Michael Gambon, el actor que hizo de Dumbledore en Harry Potter

Falleció este jueves a los 82 años por un ataque de neumonía, según comunicó su familia.

El británico tuvo una gran trayectoria en cine, televisión y teatro, pero es más reconocido internacionalmente por su papel del mago y director de Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, en las últimas seis películas de Harry Potter.

Entre sus papeles cinematográficos más destacados también figuran el de un líder psicótico de la mafia en “El cocinero, el ladrón, su mujer y su amante”, y el del anciano rey Jorge V en "El discurso del rey", en 2010.

En el teatro, Gambon interpretó a William Shakespeare, Samuel Beckett y Harold Pinter y ganó tres premios Olivier, mientras que en televisión, tuvo papeles destacados en las series El detective cantante y Maigret, entre otras.
